1. More rain over the North Island, especially in the south and east. Totals 25+ mm in many parts of East NI, WN, and West NI from Taranaki to the Central Plateau to Marton. 2. Southerly wind gusts 80+ km/h for WN, south Taranaki coast from about Whanganui to Hawera, and the Wairoa area. 3. Southwest wind gusts rise to 80+ km/h for AK and Far North, esp. south of Helensville, for a time PM hours.
